For sixteen years, our founder Dylan Lee worked inside the global sportswear supply chain — sourcing fabrics, developing fits, and producing performance apparel for brands around the world. He knew exactly what went into a truly great pair of leggings: the fabric, the pattern, the stitching, the hundred quiet decisions nobody ever sees.
He also knew what people paid for it — and how much of that price had nothing to do with quality. The gap bothered him. The same naked-feel knits, the same four-way stretch, the same rigorous standards were simply out of reach for most people who move every day.
So in 2023, in Hangzhou, he founded YIAN — a brand that designs, develops and manufactures under one roof, and sells directly to you. No middlemen, no inflated markups. Just premium performance wear, benchmarked against the best in the category, made honestly accessible.
